Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using serenitystudios.in or engaging our services. By placing an order or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Services

Serenity Studios provides web design, web development, custom software solutions, WordPress development, website maintenance, and related digital services. The specific deliverables, scope, and timeline for each project are agreed upon before commencement of work.

2. Payments

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated, and are exclusive of GST.
• GST at the applicable rate (18%) will be added to all invoices.
• For project work, payment is typically split: 50% upfront before work begins, and 50% upon project completion before final delivery.
• Monthly maintenance plans are billed at the start of each month.
• Payments are non-transferable and apply only to the services agreed.

3. Project Scope & Changes

Any work outside the agreed project scope will be quoted separately. We encourage clear communication and will provide a written change order for any additions. Scope changes may affect the timeline and cost of delivery.

4. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of final payment, the client receives full ownership of all deliverables created specifically for their project, including designs and code. Serenity Studios retains the right to display the work in our portfolio unless explicitly requested otherwise in writing.

Any third-party assets, fonts, stock images, or open-source libraries used remain subject to their respective licenses.

5. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

• Provide accurate information, content, and access required for the project
• Respond to communications within a reasonable time to avoid project delays
• Review and approve deliverables within the agreed timeframe
• Not use our services for any unlawful or harmful purpose

6. Delivery & Timeline

Project timelines are estimates based on scope and begin from the date of receipt of the initial payment and all required content/information from the client. Delays caused by the client may extend timelines without liability on our part.

7. Limitation of Liability

Serenity Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or deliverables. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate a project engagement with written notice. In the event of termination, the client is liable for all work completed up to the date of termination, billed at our standard hourly rate or the agreed milestone amount, whichever is greater.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra.
